This was one of my favorite events of the trip. If you are a history or WWII nerd, this is for you. We went early so the crowds were small. Unlike alot of "tours", I spent time at every display, talk…Full review by John M

Questions & answers

Q:
does the entry ticket include the tour?
A:
The ticket price includes the audio tour
Q:
Is this place suitable for young children aged 4 to 6? We have been invited as a guest but unsure that it will be suitable.
A:
I think kids from about 12 and up would appreciate this fantastic museum. There is a family audio experience which would help but it’s not for the very young. 2 hours is too long.
Q:
Are the war rooms accessed via lift or stairs?
A:
I agree with the other reviewer. There is a ramp from ground/street level. The hallways that have the actual rooms are rather tight with people, so be aware of that.
Q:
Can you visit the war room without booking a tour? If so, what is the cost of admission?
A:
search Churchill war room online of course.
Q:
Is it worth getting a tour? otherwise how to skip the line?
A:
We did the self tour. When we visited on a weekday morning there wasn’t a line. With the self tour you get a listening device that is very useful.
