He then completed his internship and residency at St. Vincent Catholic Medical Center in New York, as well as a fellowship in bariatric and minimally invasive surgery at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, New York. Dr. Alapati is specially trained in multiple minimally invasive techniques, including laparoscopic surgery and robotic surgery.
