The Museum is a fully-restored 1895 Queen Anne Victorian house museum in the heart of downtown Phoenix. The Rosson House is only accessible through guided tours lasting approximately 60 minutes. Tours of the house include all living areas and offer visitors a glimpse into the lifestyles of early Phoenix families.
Can you tell me if least a portion of the tour is handicap accessible? I realize that there are upper floors that probably don't have elevators. However being handicapped I would be more than happy to experience even a portion of the house if it is available to do so!

Dear llmarson, Thank you for your question. The Rosson House Museum does have handicap access to the first floor. There is a lift available on the exterior of the House. If you are not able to negotiate the stairs to the second floor, there is an area in the foyer with photos and text that explain what's on the second level. The entire guided tour is approximately 50 minutes in length, and the upstairs portion of that is only 15 minutes or so. You still have access to six of the rooms and most of the narrative. Tours start on the hour, last approximately 1 hour and the last tour starts at 3:00 pm each day. Admission fees are: $7.50 for adults $6.50 for seniors/active military/AAA/students $4.00 for children *Please note these the hours, tour times and fees for the Rosson House Museum as of February 19, 2015 and are subject to change.
