Staying in Las Vegas for 4 days, and planning to attend a show at 7pm that evening (Billy Joel and Sting, yay!) I was looking for some exploration not far from Vegas. I had a few places on my list, a…Full review by Travel_Addict_Cyprus

Hiked the petroglyph trail. Lots to see. Also lots of cool cacti and yucca. Bring lots of water and will also need sturdy shoes. The bright afternoon sunshine made it hard to see several of the petro…Full review by JW041

I love the trails here. Some of them can be pretty challenging but that’s what I love about them. There are so many different trails and the views are breath taking when you get to the top.Full review by hrdabster

Are there some areas of the Sloan Conservation area that are bit sandstone - red rock areas? I saw a photo of a giant red rock area with a hole... When going in-they are doing construction so the access point is always changing-for instance: When we got there, the only available open road was about two miles of construction roads-when you get to the direct access road, it is newly paved as well as the parking lot. Now, when we left, the construction route had changed and we took a right and it was paved all the way out. No guarantees what you will encounter as the project is clearly large-such a shame that people have to build zoo close to such beautiful areas.
