Among those martyred was Yousef al-Zaq, identified as the world’s former youngest prisoner, who died when his family’s apartment on al-Thawra Street in central Gaza City was bombed. Yousef was born in an Israeli prison in 2008 to his mother, freed prisoner Fatima al-Zaq, who was detained at the time.

The controversial Gaza Humanitarian Foundation said, without providing proof, that Hamas had attacked an aid site.
