Saskatchewan RCMP say they've now charged the 15-year-old and an 18-year-old man in connection with the killings of four people in early February.

On Wednesday, the RCMP announced that Darrius Racette, 18, faces four counts of first-degree murder. A 15-year-old boy, who cannot be identified under provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act, was also charged Thursday with four counts of first-degree murder.

Darrius Racette, 18, and an unnamed youth were arrested Tuesday in the quadruple homicide two weeks ago at Carry the Kettle Nakoda Nation.

Saskatchewan RCMP say they've arrested an 18-year-old man and an unnamed male youth in connection with the killings of four people.

The RCMP announced Wednesday afternoon two suspects have been arrested in connection with the four homicides on Carry the Kettle Nakoda Nation on February 4th. The Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes Unit arrested 18-year-old Darrius Racette in Yorkton on February 18th.

Police have released the identities of the four people killed on Carry the Kettle Nakoda Nation in southeast Saskatchewan last week.

Over the weekend, the remaining two victims in the Carry the Kettle homicide were laid to rest. Scott Eashappie, Chief of Carry the Kettle Nakoda Nation, said, the community is still in disbelief. “Each day our nation is trying to hold itself together and I’m very grateful for that,” he said.

A 15-year-old boy is facing first-degree murder charges in the shooting deaths of four people on a Saskatchewan First Nation.

18-year-old Darrius Racette was arrested in the Yorkton area. A male youth was arrested on Carry the Kettle, he cannot be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act. Both were taken into custody Feb. 18. Racette has been charged with four counts of first degree murder. He is scheduled to appear in Yorkton Provincial Court on Feb. 20.
