Browns plan to release safety Juan Thornhill
CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - The Browns are set to release safety Juan Thornhill, according to NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo. Thornhill has one year left, worth $7 million, on the three-year deal that he signed back in 2023. Thornhill had 103 tackles and four passes defensed in 22 games for the Browns.

Thornhill came over in free agency from the Kansas City Chiefs in 2023, who selected him in the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft out of Virginia. He won two Super Bowls with the Chiefs, and recorded 234 combined tackles, one sack, 20 passes defensed and a whopping eight interceptions in 65 games played.
