TSA said a Costco membership card does not meet Real ID requirements, saying it will get you a cheap hot dog but won't get you on a flight.

In a June 4 post, the TSA debunked long-standing rumors on social media and warned people that Costco membership cards do not qualify as a REAL ID. “We love hotdogs and rotisserie chickens as much as the next person but please stop telling people their Costco card counts as a REAL ID because it absolutely does not,” the TSA said.
