Newcastle is facing up to the prospect of losing star striker Alexander Isak, but without signing Sesko, the most seamless fit on paper, life could get tough.

Eddie Howe has admitted that Alexander Isak’s Newcastle United future is not in his “full control”. Isak has made clear he wants to leave the club this summer with Liverpool previously communicating their interest in a move for the 25-year-old.

Isak helped Newcastle United return to Champions League play and win the EFL Cup while scoring 27 goals and assisting six more in all competitions last season, and that would be a massive addition anywhere that he would potentially land if he does leave the club.
