Several hundred fans turned out to name a tiny street in San Francisco after celebrated Grateful Dead guitarist Jerry Garcia.

The walk up to the park was an event unto itself. RVs decked out in Dead murals lined the Panhandle, and a few blocks later JFK Boulevard was the site of nearly 100 vendor booths, selling everything from cheeky Ts mashing up the Steal Your Face logo with iconography of Southern country store chain Buc-ee's,

It's a weekend full of tributes to the 60th anniversary of the Grateful Dead in San Francisco, and people from all over the country are gathering in Golden Gate Park for three days of concerts. Da Lin reports.
