The Hollywood Reporter states that Drizzy is attempting to persuade the court to force the record label and its chairman and CEO, Lucian Grainge, to hand over Dot’s contract. He’s also asking for any details and communications from Grainge regarding “allegations of domestic violence and other crimes” supposedly committed by the pgLang head.

Lucian Grainge, CEO of Universal Music Group, slammed Drake’s allegation that he was personally behind the release and promotion of Kendrick Lamar’s chart-topping diss track “Not Like Us” in a letter to the court.

In a declaration letter, UMG's CEO was particularly blunt in describing Drake's legal moves as "groundless and indeed ridiculous," and also revealed that the company had spent "hundreds of millions" supporting the Canadian rapper.
