A woman, 26, was driving southbound in the 800 block of South DuSable Lake Shore Drive at 7:42 p.m. Saturday when she veered off the road and into Lake Michigan, police said. She was taken to a hospital as a precaution.

Police said a 26-year-old woman was headed south on DuSable Lake Shore Drive near Balbo Drive around 7:40 p.m., when she veered off the road and her blue sedan plunged into Lake Michigan.
