Denmark has made it clear that Greenland is not for sale after Donald Trump Jr. landed on the island Tuesday. According to The Hill, Trump Jr. was visiting the island to get footage for a podcast, and was joined by conservative pundit Charlie Kirk and Sergio Gor, recently appointed to run the White House’s personnel office.

As President-elect Donald Trump continues to voice his renewed interest in purchasing Greenland as a territory of the United States, Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen shared a message for him: “Greenland belongs to the Greenlanders.

President-elect Donald Trump has told residents of Greenland that “we’re going to treat you well” as his oldest son visited the mineral-rich Danish territory that’s home to a large U.S. military base.

It’s been a while since Denmark has been the object of Donald Trump’s enduring obsession with Greenland and needing to remind the returning president repeatedly that the world’s largest island isn’t for sale.

Denmark’s royal household said the new insignia “strengthens the prominence” of the Commonwealth, including Greenland, as Donald Trump again proposes buying the island.

Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen decisively stated, "Greenland is not for sale. " This was in response to Donald Trump's suggestion that he would like the island to become the property of the United States.
