In the aftermath of a deadly attack that killed 14 people, officials at the Sugar Bowl, Georgia and Notre Dame dealt with a situation unlike any they had faced before.

Riley Leonard passed for a touchdown, Jayden Harrison returned a kickoff 98 yards for a score, and Notre Dame’s defense made it hold up in a 23-10 victory over No. 2 Georgia in the Sugar Bowl.

Georgia prided itself over the last decade as one of the big bullies in college football, but on Thursday at the College Football Playoff, the Bulldogs were pushed aside by a bunch of misfits from Notre Dame.
