Gov. Hobbs launches Operation Desert Guardian to enhance Arizona border security and combat criminal activities.

Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs announced she has signed an executive order directing multiple agencies to create a joint task force, expanding security in the state's four border counties.

The task force will work to identify and reduce security vulnerabilities along the border and combat transnational criminal organizations.
