From a pop diva to a jam band, the nominees for this year’s Rock & Roll Hall of Fame were announced Wednesday.

Mariah Carey is hoping that the this time it's for real. The singer celebrated her second nomination to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on Thursday (Feb. 13), writing on Instagram that she was "so grateful" to be given a nod two years running;

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame foundation announced the list of 14 performers who will be considered for induction on Wednesday, Feb. 12.

Liam Gallagher has responded to Oasis' nomination for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame by saying it's "for wankers."

The 2025 nominees for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame were revealed early Wednesday (Feb. 12) morning. Of the 14 nominees who appear on this year's ballot, only some of them (likely about half) will be inducted into the institution later this year as the Rock Hall's Class of 2025.

Rock Hall nominations are out, but not all music fans are happy with who was included on the list to be considered.

Cyndi Lauper, Soundgarden, The Black Crowes and Joy Division/New Order also made the list of 14 performer nominees.

Also on the ballot for the Class of 2025 are Bad Company, Chubby Checker, Maná, Billy Idol and the White Stripes, among others.
