The Seattle Mariners nearly pulled off a miraculous comeback against the Arizona Diamondbacks on Monday. Down 4-0 in the top of the ninth, the Mariners scored four runs with two outs. The club tied the game after a monster home run by Dominic Canzone.

Struggling outfielder Leody Taveras was designated for assignment on Monday. The M's recalled Dominic Canzone from Tacoma to fill the roster hole.

Josh Naylor delivered the final blow with a walk-off grand slam after Seattle was held scoreless in the 10th and 11th innings. The comeback started while the Mariners were scoreless and down to their final out. Dylan Moore walked to start an improbable rally, followed by RBI singles from Donovan Solano and Cole Young.
