There have been a lot of changes at Today lately, especially with longtime anchor Hoda Kotb’s departure. While Craig Melvin took over Hoda’s seat as Today co-host, Sheinelle usually helms the show's third hour.

Today co-host Sheinelle Jones has revealed that she’s been away from the popular morning show because she’s navigating a “family health matter.”

However, concern grew after she was absent from Hoda Kotb’s last show as an anchor and Craig Melvin’s first. Several comments left on the “Today” show’s Instagram page inquired as to where she was. “Where in the world is Sheinelle? Why has she missed out on the great moments with Hoda and Craig,” one fan asked.
