Irish luck lives on this March, with two Texas lottery winners in Round Rock and Arlington taking home millions in scratch-ticket games.

Two winning lottery tickets were sold at stores in Texas. Someone won a $5 million Mega Millions prize in Friday's drawing with a ticket purchased at Racetrac, at 6495 Camp Bowie Blvd. in Fort Worth. Someone won a $1 million Powerball prize in Saturday's drawing with a ticket purchased at Speed Track, at 815 W. Crawford St. in Denison.

Two $1 million Powerball prizes capped off a lucky weekend for Georgia lottery players. Two tickets sold in the Peach State matched five numbers but not the Powerball in the March 29 drawing, narrowly missing the estimated $527 million jackpot, the Georgia Lottery said. Other players scored $150,000 and $50,000 prizes, results show.

According to the Texas Lottery, the lucky winner purchased a $1 million Powerball powerplay ticket at an Exxon on Dry Creek Drive in northwest Austin. The ticket was chosen in a drawing on March 8.

The Texas Lottery has announced that a second Mega Millions lottery ticket within the last few months has been sold in Fort Worth, this time for $5 million.

A Powerball ticket sold in California won the $527 million jackpot, lottery officials say. The ticket matched five winning numbers and the Powerball in the drawing Saturday, March 29, the California Lottery said. The lucky ticket was sold at a 7-Eleven in Anaheim, which is about a 25-mile drive southeast from Los Angeles, officials said.
