Top White House and Justice officials tied the brazen shooting of two Israeli Embassy staffers to ongoing campus protests against Israel’s war in Gaza.

George Washington University allowed “pervasive and severe” antisemitic harassment to “fester"on campus in the wake of the Oct. 7 attacks by Hamas on Israel, a new lawsuit from current and former students alleges.

The White House condemned the killing of two Israeli diplomats in Washington, DC, calling it a brutal act of anti-Semitism. President Trump vowed justice, and security has been heightened nationwide as the suspect remains in custody.

"There are so many moments where legitimate criticism of Israel and its conduct has crossed the line into antisemitism."

The Jewish Federation of Greater Houston is warning Houston residents about the "growing problem of antisemitism" in the metro after two staff members of the Israeli Embassy in Washington D.C. were killed earlier this week.

The leading Democratic candidates, including Andrew Cuomo and Zohran Mamdani, had lots to say about antisemitism and the attack.

Groups that monitor hate crimes said the Hamas attack in 2023 and the subsequent war had helped fuel tens of thousands of anti-Jewish incidents globally, including cases of verbal abuse and violence.
