By Daniel Trotta WASHINGTON (Reuters) -LGBTQ+ people and their allies gathered on Sunday at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, site of Martin Luther King's 1963 "I Have a Dream" speech, to rally for preserving decades of progress while protesting setbacks under President Donald Trump.

Saturday's Capital Pride parade marked the 50th anniversary of the event as thousands gathered in Washington, during an extended WorldPride LGBTQ celebration. The six-hour parade is part of a weekend that also included the WorldPride Music Fest and other events.
