After flying business class through Europe with airlines KLM Royal Dutch, Virgin Atlantic, and Air France, I was surprised by the food and service.

When I flew Air France's business class from Dublin to Paris and back, I felt a bit disappointed. But the food and seats were so good, I'd do it again.

Air France on Tuesday unveiled a new first-class suite as it expands efforts to lure wealthy travelers from business jets and lend a 'French touch' to the tussle for premium revenue.

According to Air France, the first-class suites are on a select number of Boeing 777-300ERs and have 24 percent more space than the existing product.
