After competitive online voting worldwide, the Army Ten-Miler has announced that Julie Socher is the grand-prize winner of the annual Army Ten-Miler T-shirt design contest.

In addition to a new camouflage pattern, the Army Combat Uniform will feature several new design changes.

The APFU consists of a jacket, long pants, shorts, short-sleeve T-shirt and long-sleeve T-shirt. The new uniform is scheduled to cost about $3 less than the current uniform, Army officials said.
