RoadRunner Travelers RV Park in Terlingua landed at spot No. 2 on the list. This little town is only four miles from Big Bend National Park, surrounded by beautiful Texas deserts and mountains.

If I was to return to Big Bend, and couldn’t stay in the Chisos Basin or Cottonwood Campground then I’d definitely stay in the Maverick Ranch RV Park again.

The national park reminded visitors of two large construction projects that will close the Chisos Basin starting in August, according to a Facebook post from Big Bend on Monday, April 28.
