Chip Kelly said the opportunity to finally work alongside new Raiders head coach Pete Carroll after the pair had orbited each other as adversaries in previous jobs was a chief reason for his return to the NFL.

Kelly is tasked with improving an offense that averaged the 27th most points and 26th most yards per game over the last two seasons.
