They were led by many upperclassmen that had tremendous individual seasons and it's no wonder the NFL scouts were paying attention. Those same scouts will get an up-and-close look at 12 of those Ducks when the NFL Combine occurs in Indianapolis in Feb. 24-March 3.

For a long time the knock on the Ducks was that they don't develop players and don't prepare them for the NFL. While never fair or reasonable, that myth is busted after news announced by the Oregon football program Thursday.

A record 12 Oregon Ducks players have been invited to the NFL Scouting Combine.
