John Wayne has appeared in three movies with Angie Dickinson, but Rio Bravo leads the pack for their flawless chemistry and its captivating storyline.

The movie is another classic from Wayne, while John Carpenter has remade Rio Bravo twice as Assault on Precinct 13 and Ghosts of Mars.

Rio Bravo is unique among the top 10 entries on this list in that, unlike The Searchers or Red River, Wayne himself isn't the definitive best thing about this movie.
