Connecticut State Rep. Maryam Khan was attacked Wednesday while attending Eid Al-Adha celebrations in Hartford, according to officials.

Police in Hartford said they detained the man who attacked and pushed Rep. Maryam Khan to the ground after Eid-u;-Adha prayers on Wednesday.
