The U.S. Air Force Band of Mid-America gives a private performance of the "Marines' Hymn" for a dying veteran who wanted to here it one more time.
Lynchburg area Marines of all ages gathered for a very special moment inside a local recording studio.
Marines have previously stood quietly at attention when the "Marines Hymn" is played.
Previously Marines were directed to stand at attention during the playing of the Corps’ official song, the Marines’ Hymn ― a tradition that dates back to just after World War II.
