A Maryland man with a favorite set of horses in the lottery's Racetrax virtual racing game scored a five-figure prize for the second time.

In January, the Waldorf woman bought a $10 Mega Bucks ticket, lottery officials said. Even though it wasn’t a winner, she told lottery officials her hope remained. “Something said, go back tomorrow and try again,” she told lottery officials.

The winner was so “stunned” at the site of the number she scanned the ticket several times to confirm, officials said.
