Nissan took the wraps off its upcoming EV, the Leaf, which is slated for a major redesign, but it left out some important information. Here's what we know.

Outside of the shiny new suit, it’ll come with 19s (19in wheels on a Leaf!), a panoramic “moonroof”, and in the USA, a NACS charging port allowing it to sneak onto Tesla chargers, vastly opening up its long-haul appeal.

But Nissan 's future electric SUV plans extend well beyond a third-gen Leaf; the company is planning on an EV "adventure-focused" SUV, it revealed on Wednesday, as part of an announcement of its plans to invigorate the Nissan lineup in the United States and beyond.
