OTTAWA COUNTY, Mich. — Tuesday, the Ottawa County Sheriff's Office (OCSO) announced they will be using Axon Inc.'s cameras for their Body Camera / In Car Camera project.

After years of discussion, deputies at the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office are officially equipped with body-worn cameras, with the installation of in-car cameras following this month.

After several years of efforts, the Ottawa County Sheriff's Office now has dashboard cameras on its vehicles.

The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO) announced it will receive new body and dash cams from Axon.

As part of the agreement, Ottawa County will receive about 225 body-worn cameras, 120 in-car cameras, support hardware and software, and new TASERs.
