If your fiddle leaf fig is in too large of a pot, excess moisture can accumulate in all that soil and cause root rot. Choose a pot that’s just 2 or 3 inches wider than the root ball of the plant.
A leaf, or frond, lasts for several years before ... and sun exposure are fairly easy to correct. Choose a pot with plenty of drainage holes and use a loose soil mix with added perlite.
