Alex Beaupain's songs are very much in a standard idiom of rock-tinged modern chanson, but while his lyrics are intelligent and wittily rhymed, their music is simply too repetitive.

A French musical comedy about a ménage a trois? C'est vrai. Director Christophe Honoré's Love Songs (Les Chansons d'Amour) arrives at Zeitgeist this week as part of the center's 'Future ...
