Trump is on his way to Scotland to open a new golf course, which is quite an expensive hobby, as the US public saw his first term.
Donald Trump’s five-day golf trip to Scotland is expected to cost U.S. taxpayers millions of dollars, according to a new report. This trip will mark the president’s fifth international trip since beginning his second term in January.
Trump was sworn in on Jan. 20, and per the site, he has run up more than $26 million in taxpayer funded golf trips since. The actual total cost, per HuffPost, is currently $26,127,531.
In his second term, the President has made more visits to his golf courses than he did in his first term, according to an ethics watchdog.
