The 17th season of "RuPaul's Drag Race" has taken television by storm. Among this season's 14 contestants is Oklahoma native Lana Ja'Rae.

This season's Rusical is inspired by a mashup of "Wicked, The Wizard of Oz" and "The Wiz" in a new episode of "RuPaul's Drag Race" airing on Friday, Feb. 21.

“‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ is a reality show in which a group of talented drag queens compete in challenges to impress host RuPaul, the world’s most famous drag queen, to win a cash prize along with a crown and the title of America’s Next Drag Superstar.”

This week Crystal Envy was sent home, much to my surprise. I had ranked Crystal as second most likely to win last week after her strong showing in the ball had landed her in the top for the third time. Truly THE robbed queen of Season 17, she left the competition far too soon, but this does certainly make things easier for her competitors.

The girls of RuPaul’s Drag Race are reeling over the surprise elimination of Crystal Envy in the exclusive preview from this week’s episode. In the video below, the queens react to Envy getting eliminated,
