Mika Zibanejad scored twice and added an assist as the host New York Rangers ended one of the more disappointing seasons in team history with a 4-0 victory over the playoff-bound Tampa Bay Lightning on Thursday night.

Mika Zibanejad scored twice and Igor Shesterkin made 27 saves as the New York Rangers beat the Tampa Bay Lightning 4-0 on Thursday night in the regular-season finale for both teams.

The Rangers must make sure to not follow that same path and it already feels like they are. Shesterkin can still be the heart and soul of the Rangers without putting the weight of the world on his back.
