Tennessee killer Joshua Dotson, who likened himself to the Michael Myers at his trial, has been sentenced to 261 years in prison for numerous murders.

Throughout his 2024 trial, Joshua Dotson "shocked the court by testifying in his own defense, referring to himself as a 'serial killer' and likening himself to the fictional murderer Michael Myers."

The defendant had already been serving a lengthy sentence for the killings of his pregnant ex-girlfriend and her unborn child.

Joshua Dotson, 24, pleaded guilty to the first-degree murders of three people in Tennessee in 2019 and 2020. He had already been sentenced for the murder of his ex-girlfriend and her unborn child.
