Meta's app has a two-step process to post conversations on a public Discover feed. Somehow, people are still unknowingly sharing those (sometimes very revealing) chats for all to see.
OpenAI said it will continue working with Scale AI after Meta Platforms Inc. made a multibillion-dollar investment in the startup, as it seeks to maintain a broad ecosystem of data sources.
Meta AI, launched earlier this year, can be accessed through its social media platforms Facebook, Instagram and Whatsapp. It is also available as a standalone product which has a public "Discover" feed. Users can opt to make their searches private in their account settings.
