The Holiday director had no idea Christmas classic was being remade into a TV series
Filmmaker Nancy Meyers has revealed that reports her 2006 Christmas classic The Holiday is getting a TV reboot came as a surprise to her. News of an Apple TV+ series based on the popular romcom was broken by Deadline over the weekend, with the publication reporting that the new show would have the same premise as the film but brand new characters.

Her film “The Holiday,” starring Kate Winslet, Cameron Diaz, Jude Law and Jack Black, has become a holiday movie staple since its release in 2006.
