The New York Yankees are moving Jazz Chisholm Jr. back to second base and have reportedly reached out to the Pittsburgh Pirates about Ke'Bryan Hayes.

Chisholm began the season at second, his most natural position after breaking into the big leagues there with Miami five years ago.

Appearing on the Talkin' Yanks podcast, Aaron Boone said Chisholm will move from third base back to second base. Chisholm has made 28 consecutive starts at third base. The move to second base for Chisholm will start with Tuesday's game against the Seattle Mariners, according to ESPN.
