Quinn strikes twice as Sabres shut out Senators
Jack Quinn notched a pair of goals versus his hometown team. Thursday was a happy homecoming for Sabres forward Jack Quinn, whose pair of early goals led Buffalo to a 4-0 shutout of the Ottawa Senators at Canadian Tire Centre. Quinn, an Ottawa native, had plenty of guests in attendance to watch him give the Sabres a 2-0 lead in the first period.
Luukkonen Earns Shutout as Sabres Defeat Senators 4-0
The Buffalo Sabres (16-21-5) defeated the Ottawa Senators (19-18-3) by a core of 4-0. With two goals from Jack Quinn and three points from Ryan McLeod, the Sabres had their offense showing up, and Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen stopped all 35 shots for his sixth career shutout and second of the season.
