The mother of a man shot and wounded during a confrontation with Pawtucket police says police have blocked her from seeing her son.

A manhunt is underway after two Minnesota lawmakers were shot in their homes by a man impersonating a police officer.

A Missouri man has been arrested and charged in connection with a Jan. 10 road-rage shooting that left a former sports reporter dead. Ruslan Huseynov, 34, is charged with second-degree murder, two counts of armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon in connection with Dennis Sharkey Jr.'s death, according to Platte County records.

Police have identified a 30-year-old man fatally shot in Grand Rapids as Semaj James, confirmed a Grand Rapids spokesperson early Saturday, June 14. Police were called around 1 a.m. to the 1440 block of Cass Avenue SE, south of Hall Street, finding James inside a residence, police said.

Police said the shooting near the landmark Bellagio fountains was an isolated incident between the victims and the suspect, who had been feuding on social media.
