High-level delegations from the United States and China are meeting in London to try and shore up a fragile truce in a trade dispute that has roiled the global economy

Trump administration officials are expected to meet with Chinese representatives in London on Monday for trade talks. On the U.S. side, the group includes Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick and U.

The meeting follows a phone call with China's President Xi Jinping that Trump said reached a "very positive conclusion."
