It was an eventful morning for the Toronto Maple Leafs, prior to their matchup against the New Jersey Devils. Jake McCabe will return to the lineup after a four-game absence.

Toronto Maple Leafs left wing Max Pacioretty (upper body) was placed on Injured Reserve on Wednesday. The move is retroactive to Jan. 18, meaning Pacioretty will not be eligible to return to the lineup until next week.

Matthews and Nylander both scored two goals as Toronto battled back from 2-1 and 3-2 deficits in the third period to beat New Jersey 4-3.
