After weather canceled all flights to Baltimore, rapper Jeezy took a 10-hour Uber ride from South Carolina and arrived just 10 minutes before taking the stage at The Lyric.

Jeezy’s team arranged for a driver to take him, but two hours in, the car hit something on the highway that punctured the gas tank.

Atlanta-based rapper Jeezy would have missed his Baltimore concert last week at The Lyric if not for an Uber driver willing to drive him 10 hours to Charm City.

The driver, who said he has been working for Uber for around five years, said that the 10-hour drive was the first ride he accepted on his shift that day.

Jeezy praised an Uber driver for driving him from South Carolina to Baltimore after his flight was canceled on Aug. 1.
