Although the film isn’t set to hit theaters until July, Desi Trill, Cardi B, DJ Khaled, Natania, and Subhi are ready to paint the town blue. On their cross-cultural and multi-language track, “Higher Love,” the musicians crafted a vibrant infectious energy to kick off any family-friendly event.

Cardi B and DJ Khaled are part of the Smurf family. While they won't be starring in the blockbuster, the "Wish Wish" collaborators joined forces on Friday (Feb. 21) to contribute "Higher Love" to the Smurfs Movie Soundtrack.

DJ Khaled and Cardi B have joined Natania and Subhi for Desi Trill's Belinda Carlisle-sampling single "Higher Love." The record, which will appear on the soundtrack to the new Smurfs movie, flips "Heaven Is a Place on Earth" into a multilingual love song.
