In a move to focus more on growing the Jack in the Box Brand, the San Diego-based company is also mulling selling Del Taco.

San Diego-based Jack in the Box announced that it will close between 150 and 200 "underperforming" restaurants and will explore selling the Del Taco brand.

Should the company decide to close 200 locations, it would represent 9% of the restaurants it operates in 22 states.
