A weather alert was issued by the NWS Wilmington NC on Tuesday at 2:53 p.m. for strong thunderstorms until 3:30 p.m. for Bladen and Columbus counties.

COLUMBUS COUNTY, N.C. (WECT) - A multiple-vehicle crash is causing delays in Columbus County. According to Drive NC, the crash happened along NC-87 between Narrow Gap Road and General Howe Highway.
