Basso stars in the Netflix series as FBI agent Peter Sutherland, who works in the White House as a Night Action telephone operator. He told Fallon, 50, that when the audience watches The Night Agent, he wants them to feel that his performance is believable.

Agent stars are talking about how trust (or a lack of it) is a big part of what fuels the relationships in Season 2. Gabriel Basso, who plays Peter Sutherland, told Blavity/Shadow and Act Managing Editor Trey Mangum that Peter has evolved significantly since the first season.
